Rosie: Thanks for having me, Spiffy! There are many challenges in a given community or when we identify a primary need within a community. I want to explain this a little bit more. Many issues are a combination and intersection of other issues. For example, gender equality is also a poverty, race, quality education, health, and well-being issue. All of the SDGs are connected, and our interventions address intersectionality. A sample project below can explain my point deeply. I was approached by a hyper-local ngo called Pace-In in Isiolo County, Kenya, to help stop and reduce female genital mutilation. This specific intervention for this community first addressed poverty and partnerships to reduce female genital mutilation within a community.
Trent: Thanks for having me, Spiffy! The Chief of Staff Association is an organization that brings together current and former chiefs of staff from various industries, including government, military, corporate, and nonprofit sectors. The association aims to provide a platform for chiefs of staff to network, share knowledge, and collaborate on best practices. The association provides a forum for members to discuss common challenges and opportunities, share insights and experiences, and learn from one another. Members can participate in events, conferences, and workshops, as well as access resources such as research, case studies, and training materials.
Berra: Thanks for having me, Spiffy! With my project, I am aiming to raise awareness, reach, and inform people through the global language of music. I decided to choose a specific topic to start this project, which was raising awareness about the benefits of music on people with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Music has a significant impact on these individuals as it helps reduce anxiety and increases social interaction.
