Ankita: Thanks for having me, Spiffy! At the POWAN Initiative, we aim to support K-12 students from communities of color that historically have limited access to supplemental educational enrichment. As COVID-19 unexpectedly changed the way students access education, we are closing the equity gap by empowering marginalized students and increasing student academic success. We assist K-12 students in the Inland Empire and other parts of the United States. Our trained instructors empower students with special needs and disabilities as well.

Jane: Thanks for having me, Spiffy! The way that we eat food today is mostly produced using a massive amount of chemicals, factory farming, and industrial processes that are destroying our land, ecosystems, and climate. And yet, we each have three meals a day where we can make a difference! Many of us want to make better decisions, but there's a lot of misinformation out there about what's healthy and truly "sustainable," so I started Farm to Future, a podcast all about how to eat better for the planet, starting with our decisions today.

Edna: Thanks for having me, Spiffy! My Boddle Learning team and I are working to inspire learning that is both seriously fun and transformational, starting with math! The pandemic took a toll on kids' academic progress and we want to meet kids where they are in their educational journeys and use gameplay and AI to help them gain the confidence that drives comprehension. This is incredibly important especially at a time when gaps in learning are growing and kids are falling further behind.
