João: GenZ represents one-third of the Brazilian population, and is the first digitally native generation. However, most GenZers don't have access to financial services or a bank account and are cash-based. They’re also much more independent financially than previous generations, yet don’t know anything about personal finances. Z1 initiates Gen Z on their financial journey with an independent account linked to a card where they can send, receive, and spend money while learning about financial literacy.
Connie: Project Invent is a nonprofit that empowers high school students nationwide to invent technologies that make a difference. We train educators in design thinking, engineering, and entrepreneurship to lead students to identify a real problem in their community and invent a technology solution. Our mission is to empower the next generation of fearless STEM leaders and problem solvers, through invention.
Jana: People are feeling increasingly disconnected and isolated, especially as a result of the pandemic. Adventure Untamed helps people of all fitness and experience levels connect with nature and other people, and engage their sense of curiosity. A number of participants have told us that connecting with nature and engaging with others, in some cases for the first time since the pandemic began, helped their mental wellness. It helped them cope with loss and isolation. Getting back to basics by engaging with our natural surroundings, being mindful, and being curious bring joy and hope to people's lives. We have trips that span the spectrum of abilities and experiences, so someone can join as a first-time hiker or an experienced mountaineer.
